The Odaiko Sonora SPACE
(Secure Performing Arts
Creative Environment) is
located at 1013 S. Tyndall. The 5,000 sqft
facility includes storage, office space, and a 2500 sqft clear
space with 16–18 foot ceilings. The 33' x 44' sqft sprung
wood floor has a Harlequin dance surface. Rental rates range
from $15 to $30 an hour, depending on the use.
Appropriate uses are creative lab time, group practices and
rehearsals, meetings and small events (up to 60 people). To
see the SPACE schedule, go to the Yahoo group taikospace
and click on the "calendar" link near the top of
the left menu box. You'll need a Yahoo id and password, but
it's easy and free to sign up.

Black Ballet, Funhouse Movement Theater, Japan-America
Society of Tucson and many others. Healing arts include
taijichuan, yin yoga mediation and Drumming the I Ching.
